TOP 50 COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS: 5/10

21. Dr. OCTOPUS: Originally known as "Doctor Otto Gunther Octavius" (in the comics world, not to comics readers). Like most villains this guy has to have a sob story (I'm not just talking about why he turned to a villain), but his is actually the best I found in "Earth 616"; "The arrogant jerk scientist who doesn't like anyone else to touch his work so he create four unique assistants, but an unfortunate accident infused his tentacles to his body and created an alteration in his mind creating a villainous mind"

His Ultimate (Earth 1610) origin is a great one too: "An industrial spy for "Justin Hammer" on "Norman Osbourn", Osbourn's experiment injured the spy in an explosion severely in sight & upper part of the body and infused his arms to him. Believing his original employer cheated him he went on a vengeance rampage against Hammer"

22. THE JOKER: "Jack Napier" had an optional swim (not) in a chemical vat and turned completely white pale with red lips, he finds Batman to be his major sport and he enjoys tormenting him with a smile on his face (Get the Joke? A punch for the punchline).

23. EUGENE/FLASH THOMPSON: Highschool's worst nightmare turns to be the best peer "Peter Parker" ever met. Flash earns his place because I really have close friends like him who used to bully me before befriending me.

24. THE LEADER: Because I saw him in the 80s Hulk cartoon, nothing more. And he looks ugly after his head goes poofier

25. ZORRO: A skilled swordsman and a pirate hunter before joining "Monkey D. Luffy" pirate crew. If he get's heavily injured but he still fights with same skill and ability. You mess with him and you'll be sorry. He's from One Piece

TOP 50 COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS: 4/10

16. DAREDEVIL: The best lawyer in the world (I don't like lawyers, but I say this only because I am a DareDevil fan). His powers are great for a blind man (I will only want his abilities if I was blind, right now I'd prefer to be like Spider-Man, Batman, Wolverine or Superman). With his disability he can defeat guys like "The Masked Marauder" with much more ease than any other person can either super-powered or not.

17. GREEN LANTERN (ANYONE OF THEM): The ring is not to be hated, the only flaw it has is that it does not affect yellow objects due to the impurity of the ring making materials. My personal favorite one is Hal because he has two brothers and one of them had his girlfriend suspecting him to be "Green Lantern" for real back in the late 50s in the "Silver Age of Comics".

18. FLASH/BARRY ALLEN: "The Fastest Man on Earth" is back alive, I always preferred him to "Wally West" and I still do. Barry is the star of a TV series but he has the habit of Wally to eat too much rubbed on him in that series, Barry conserves food money because he doesn't need to eat much.

19. TASKMASTER: I think for creating the sharingan the creator of Naruto was inspired by this one. Taskmaster has the ability to perform any ability he sees performed in front of his eyes either in reality or on TV, but to copy the abilities of someone with super-powers he needs special tech's & gadgets.

20. WOLVERINE/JAMES MAXWELL HOWLETT/LOGAN

TOP 50 COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS: 3/10

The VG's character list is rising quicker, but I'm working back here. Proceed:

11. Dr. VICTOR VON DOOM: Initially & ongoing as the "Fantastic 4" arch-nemesis the good doctor still have his good points, he already teamed-up twice with IronMan in the 80s and as much of a dectator he seems to be (he is a tyrant, really); Doom still works for the good of his people. I learned about him and started enjoying him from Spider-Man's 1981 solo series, this image above is from that show.

12. KILLUA: This silver headed young dude started out as too cool (cold more properly) a character but he quickly became friends with Gon in 'Hunter X Hunter'. A member of a family of assassin's who worked in their ways but doesn't really like his family business

13. MC GARGAN/SCORPION: In this list there's a Scorpion too, but this one is an enemy of Spider-Man in Marvel comics. "Attack of the Arachnoid" in "Spider-Man & his Amazing Friends" is my absolute favorite Spider-Man story and it is the one that made Mc Gargan/Scorpion my favorite Spider-Man nemesis, so I attach a picture of him from that show.

14. NARA SHIKAMARU: Wasn't really interested in this guy until I saw his fight's recently, I didn't see him earlier except a whiny "how troubolsome" guy. I didn't see him fight in season one up until recently to be precise, his strategies are great and his fights make him better than a weak man I thought him to be.

15. DEADPOOL: For such a fan of Deadpool like myself it is too wrong not to place his majesty in this list, he is way too funny to stay out of this list of mine, not in any position less than the 15th

TOP 50 COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS: 2/10

I took long between this file and the previous one; isn't that right? Sorry about that to anyone who follows and is looking forward to the upcoming ones:

6. RICK JONES: I already said he's my favorite supporting cast member of any comic series. The one responsible for the existence of the HULK, but he took up to his responsibility & he works to fix what he did wrong. During his time as the best friend of Dr. "Robert Bruce Banner" and the green skinned savage HULK he became the new Bucky and aided "Captain America" under the direction of Cap. they become a fantastic team, Rick also became a sidekick to the Avengers and to the alien "Captain Marvel" (not the one of the word SHAZAM)

7. HATAKE KAKASHI: The main rival to Gai & the leader of team seven; he's a funny man and has real funny excuses for being late, a leader and a jonin since he was under the leadership of "Uzumaki Minato" the 4th Hokage

8. GAI SENSEI: Konoha's beautiful green beast; the leader of the best team: Neji, Rock Lee, & Ten Ten. With his shiny teeth and nice man pose you have to laugh, with his outstanding similarity to his little brother for a student; "Rock Lee".

9. ROCK LEE: Konoha's other beautiful green beats; funny since the start with his fuzzy eyebrows and his love for "Haruno Sakura" (she's way out of this list). A poor ninjitsu user and a genius Taijetsu user.

10. J. JONAH JAMESON: His hate for Spider-Man is mainly due to his jealousy of that fearless adventurer; writer "Kurt Busiek" even gives the thought more light in his historical peace; "Amazing Fantasy #18", his jealousy made him attack Spider-Man senselessly in his editorials. Writer "David Michilinie" wrote an amazing tale of confessions from Jameson how he created Spider-Man. During stressful times Jameson used to be a chicken and generally he was a pure comedy icon in the Spider-Man series, the funniest moments in Spider-Man mostly are the interactions between these two heroes. Jameson proved over time to be a true hero, not simply a coward and he still doesn't give up his vendetta to masked people mainly Spider-Man

TOP 50 COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS: 1/10

Most of the times you see people start from bottom to top in the top many lists, but this will be a pain for me so I'll start from top to bottom starting with my absolute favorite five:

1. SPIDER-MAN: He has the most amazing powers, he is fun to play with, his comebacks are funny and the more I read about him the more similarities between him and me I find. My brothers said I'm a lot like Spider-Man, and that annoyed me actually but they don't know how right they are. The image is from "Spider-Man & his Amazing Friends" intro, my first introduction to Spider-Man and an awesome intro, awesome art based on that of the living legend "John Romita sr."
2. HULK: I dunno, he's awesome and his story is very great about a man with a curse being chased for being different, his supporting cast has my favorite member of a supporting cast "Rick Jones"; the guy kept working to make up for his mistake much like Spider-Man. This picture is from my introduction to Hulk through the Incredible 1982 animated series with fascinating art based on that of the legendary "John Buscema"

3. BATMAN: A man whom the death of his parents drove him to help others and avoids killing as much as possible, an amazing detictive and a role model to children losing their families, not this didn't completely happened to "Tim Drake", but his helping "Dick Grayson" and making him Robin made Tim a new super-hero and went straight instead of the possibility of working in a gang. My introduction to this guy isn't his amazing animated series of the 90s but it is fact the silver age comics

4. SUPERMAN: My favortie DC heroes I got introduced to them through translated comics to my language during my childhood, I love his powers, comics & tv shows

5. HYUUGA NEJI: My favorite manga/anime character, during his fights with Naruto & Hinata you see him a jerk until you hear his back story and sympathy him, but still a jerk for taking his grief on poor hinata until Naruto changes his mind. Unlike "Uchiha Sasuke"; this guy never turned his cheek on his team-mates or his fellow Konoha ninja's, he's always the friend you need and the first of Konoha's talented Genin's to become a Jonin

SPIDER-MAN HATERS ARE WEIRDO'S

Here; I said it and I'll say it again:
"YOU PEOPLE WHO HATE SPIDER-MAN ARE WEIRDO'S"

Come on, a guy who makes fun of the villains he fight instead of shouting on them, a man who thinks of all the possible ways to escape from a trap instead of stressing himself out like a moron then knocks the villains he fight unconscious with a couple of jokes sided by dozens of fists and kicks.

He also takes care of his widowed aunt, makes his weapons and work clothes himself with the low cash he has and he sure keeps a dirt on the big city but only a few minutes and then it goes with the wind, this is a guy you hate?

CHAPTER 443-THE MEETING

From left to right:

*Page 3: Naruto's aspirins finally kill's the Pain (too boring a joke I know, but to defeat pain you still need aspirins) for good (as far as his attack on Konoha lasted), and he's taking out the chakara absorbing sticks before remembering what Pain said to him during combat

*Page 8: Hinata is alive and Sakura revives her and heals her fully. The group learn Naruot wants to go to the tower of Pain alone and Neji feels him reckless because the fight exausted him a lot

*Page 17: After an argument with Nara & Inoichi Naruto finally reaches Pain alone to have a chat.

This chapter should have been named "Destination: Real Pain", instead of naming it on the last couple of panels in the chapter. The name is right on the next chapter is my thought for now

HAVE A PUNCH DAD; MY TREAT

One of the meanings of punch is the red juice or whatever kind of drink in a bowel seen in balls, schools dances, teen house parties or this kind of stuff (I don't know what's the drink in the bowl is).

Another meaning everyone who knows English is familiar with is the fist strike, example:

This lovely panel is from Naruto chapter 440 page 6, Naruto punches the fourth hokage after finally revealing what fans knew for a long time and explaining that his dissappearance happened because the fourth; "Uzumaki Minato" trapped himself within Naruto's subconcious mind in case the seal got broken and Naruto release's the 8th tail. This fight happen's inside Naruto's body, the young ninja finally pays Minato a long overdue dept.

I called this chapter; along side the 7 chapters before it junk, but I couldn't keep myself from putting this as an entry in my blog. Sure hope the rest of the story turns good afterwards because the twists and turns within are getting way too sickening.

IDENTITY CRISIS

No; I'm not talking about the weird DC event I only read one issue of (which actually I liked a lot), my subject is about the fantastic episode of "Spectacular Spider-Man animated":

Venom told Jameson, Leeds & Robbie who Spider-Man really is in the previous episode so this episode started with Peter in the spotlight being questioned about his alter ego, Peter left telling about his famous deal with Spider-Man, Robbie here proved to be his Ultimate counterpart as did "Eddie Brock"

"Ned Leeds" asked many people about their belief of Peter being Spider-Man, "May Parker" & the Connors had the best responses to this question. While Ned was busy with his story Spider-Man was busy fighting Venom, the way he defeated Venom:

Venom wanted to expose Pete then feed him the "Gene Cleanser", but Peter managed to escape and use his enemy's weapon against him to defeat him.

The episode is by far the best of the series, second best is episode 12 of the 1st season. Let's pray Carnage shall not enter as a villain in the show

SUPERMAN & SPIDER-MAN

Can you imagine Superman & Spider-Man in one movie? Together?
Some might think I mean "Toby Macguire" and "Brandon Routh" together in one movie? Perhaps.
I'm talking big rumors here; Spider-Man & Superman to meet in one movie together, both comic book characters tangle in live action face to face

THE POWERS OF WOLVERINE

These sci-fi forums has a subject about top 50 comic book heroes for the individual writing them, one of the heroes he enlisted is "James Maxwell Howlett" alias Logan alias Wolverine, he stated that the claws aren't originally his but they actually were laced in him by "Weapon X" the
Candian mutant making agency. Let us take a deep look in the history of Wolverine's powers.

As a youth, Logan first sheathed his bone claws against his childhood friend who is a mutant as well as him, his former friend and deadly nemesis "Crusher Creed" alias "the sabertooth". Sabertooth turned against his friend for a reason mistified to me, I mustread "Wolverine Origins comics" to figure the idea.

After Logan renamed himself and masked his crush identity as his cousin and became minors; Logan started feeling his hyper smell and his animal instincts running in him, Logan started running free in the forest.

Wolverine also has a healing factor that speeding his healing process which helped him endure the physical pain he felt a lot of times, like the time he had the adamantium laced to his bones for the first time, in fights with the likes of the Hulk & the Windego & Magneto removing the adamantium laced to his bones as in this redrawn state from the original art by Batman/X-Men celebrated artist "Jim Lee".

Somehow; the adamantium held back Loagan's wild animal instincts to be fully released, Wolverine's friend "Kurt Wagner" alias Nightcrawler helped supressing the beast within the hero. Later on; a new layer of Adamantium was laced to his bones.

A most notable thing about Wolverine is that he's over a 100 years old, during this time he served in the army during WWII & befirended "Steve Rogers" alias "Captain America", he as well worked in S.H.I.E.L.D. and befriended "Nick Fury" other agents among them a nice couple called "Richard & Mary Fitzpatrick Parker"

THE KING OF MARVEL

Yesterday on the way home from college I was thinking why some characters should stay in "King of Fighters" series, one of them I thought he is the Marvel popular superhero of KoF.

Here's the list of similarities I found, the star of this entry is one of them and it is up to you to guess who is the one that gave me the idea for this entry.

Kyo Kusanagi = Spider-Man: Both are two of the most popular in their medium, both of them have clones and both of them has a major fan.

Iori Yagami = Venom/Eddie Brock: The antagonist of hero with equal powers & a parasite within.

K = Wolverine: K's memory was erased from him and he was a forcibly created soldier for the community they work for, or the facility that played with them and put something new within, each struggled to regain his memory and went against the facility experimented on him. K is with "Nest Cartel" & it happened to Logan with "Weapon X"

Asamiya Athena = Jean Grey/The Phoenix: Psychic chicks with great power lurking within. The thing that differs them is that Athena's inner power isn't evil.

Terry Bogard = Captain America: A popular great fighter wearing the colors of the American flag with a star on the shirt of each one of them.

Ryo Sakazaki = Shang Chi: Both have a brotherly like friend from a different continent, both of them were trained in the martial arts by their fathers, but the difference is when Ryo had to fight his father he found his father is a victim, Shang's father is evil this is why he keeps fighting him

Geese Howard = Kingpin: Powerful rich crimelords, great fighters, each of them has a son oppsing him. Rock Howard (unlike Richard Fisk) is good, never turned evil.

I WON'T TELL YOU WHY I POST THESE

Spec v1 #211 X ASG #28

As long as you get the drift, there is no need for me to talk

ISSUES RECAP: PAD AMS

Yesterday I reread the two comedy issues of Amazing Spider-Man written by "Peter Allen David": #266 & #267. You see; they came out consecutive.

*The issue on the left is Amazing #266, a masterpiece drawn by the magnifecient "Sal Buscema". The art might have affected my judgment on it, but I'm a fan of our pal Sal that I really liked his stories in the series "What If...?" which I didn't like very much, so please bear with my review. If anyone has any steam you can release it as a commentrary.

[Issue Summary] The story starts with "The Toad" from Magneto's "Brotherhood of Evil Mutants" trying to commit suicide, one of the spectators urges Morty to hurry up in jumpingbut spidey catches him and manages to put a smile on the face of Toad instead of him staying in the frown. This happened before the break-up between spidey & the cat. (This issue was releeased with Spectacular #104, Pete broke with Felecia in Spectacular #100.)

Weeks later spidey catches two magazine-shop burglars wearing his black duds and had unwanted help by the toad, "The Toad" took Spidey's offer weeks before to be his friend and announce he's to be his partner, live on T.V "Eugen Coliostro"/"Fabulous FrogMan" saw the news and got angry.

Toad sat a trap for the next day for Spidey on an appointment spidey promised Mortimer to meet him. Eugene found out and went in the next morning to warn the web-head (I want to see more of Frog-Man) and the Toad got in. Toad & "FrogMan" fought each other leaving the punks to Spider-Man to handle.

An unexpected member of the irregular cast joined to prove himself the better spidey assitant and the story ended with them being a team. [Issue Summary]

The issue stayed funny, I laughed hard and I treasure this issue very much, well done "Peter David", well done pal "Sal Buscema". The story has no weaknes I.M.H.O and I advise ones who don't read comics to take it. The summary is not funny because:
1. I didn't write the jokes
2. It is best to read the story itself and look at the magnificent art of the master

5 webs (spiderfan.org has a great way to rate web-wonder stories)*

*On the right is issue #267, like the previous issue I read it once again yesterday, like the previous issue I laughed when I read it the first time, but unlike the previous issue I didn't laugh at all on the second read of this story.

[Issue Summary] "Black Suited Spidey" thinks about his troubles and gets suddenly startled by the Torch, the duo hang around town for a while, the end of their tag-along is with the Torch inviting Spidey to lunch at the B.Building at one day might he come.

The Torch leaves and Spider-Man notices a burglar holding a lighter-gun, to escape Spider-Man the burglar held a Manniquin with the lighter pointed on its head then dropped it and escaped to the subway, ticked Spidey chased after the burglar and had to throw a tracer on him to keep track with him. Spidey got caught by the metro-station security but he took his leave.

The next day Spidey wore his original "Red 'n Blue" duds and started searching for the burglar half a day with no use, but he remembered the way he used to track down his Spider-Tracers in the early days to find the signal of his spider-tracer coming from the suburbia.

In the suburbia; Spidey met plenty of trouble to find the burglar and a couple of friendly faces giving him a ride. By the house of the burglar spidey was standing when the burglar left in his Volvo, there was a chase until Spidey caught him and decided to return to the city where he can be more relaxed. [Issue Summary]

Didn't break a laugh ont at all, but the story is still worth it. The artist is "Bob McLeod", I'm not a fan of his art but it isn't bad, the sketcheing of Bob is actually sleek and I can't blame him for not laughing again

INCREDIBLE HULK DVD

I'm talking about the 1982 animated show they started airing with "Spider-Man & his Amazing Friends" season 2, not the 90s nor the 60's animated versions. Not the comics collection nor do I mean "Live Action"

Proud with having the DVD's I watched the whole series of one of my favorite superheroes, the show is one of my dearly favorites I hold dear with all my heart. The Hulk out scenes, the commentrary by Stan Lee, and the villains Hulk fight's starting with the "Deadly Doctor Octopus", they didn't make fun of Ock, he might've win if Hulk didn't forgive Rick for tricking him.

TOM DEFALCO

I was looking at my back issues of Spider-Man, red Spectacular Spider-Man 41 with the Looter which isn't really good, but other writings by the writer of that issue "Tom Defalco".

Amazing Spider-Man 252-282 have some of the best writings ever, all by the improved Tom Defalco, he made me enjoy reading Thunderstrike, I'm not a fan of Thunderstrike, not a hater of the character too. Enjoyed what I read of his series of Spider-Girl and I even give 4 out 5 for the two parts he wrote about a character I despise with all my heart of the worst story ever, his two parts of "Maximum Carnage".

A great writer is a writer who can make you love reading on characters you hate without complaining at all.

"Maximum Carnage" is co-written by two writers created some of my favorite stories:
1. Kraven Last Hunt
2. Spider-Man gets married (retconned? yes, but the marriage issue still happened despite the fact it's undone)
3. The Big Question
4. Without Great Powers
But the parts they wrote; I can't put different words in my speech besides I couldn't read after the first three pages of each part of "Maximum Carnage"

So a peace of advice, search for "Tom Defalco" scripting and read it

PPTSSM 130

Looking back at classic Spider-Man stories, or to saying reading back issues I never read before I have to hand you this little tale after all the time I avoided it

SCRIPTED BY: BOB LAYTON
ART BY: JIM FERN

The Hobgoblin got shot while escaping the Kingpins building after a failed attempt to steal a book from one of the safes in the aforementioned building and the injuries of the Goblin are too hard in a level of him getting temporarily crippled.

To get the book he failed to steal he delivers a poisonous note to Harry Osborn, at first he considered Peter parker but to him that wimp doesn't have as many friends and as much responsibilities as his friend Harry. The poison seeped through the skin of Harry and he had 24 hours to live.

The content of the poisonous note is a demand of getting Spider-Man to Hobgoblin. In the hideout of the Goblin Spider-Man heard the summary of the situation and got poisoned as well by a radar like detector to guide him to the book. Trying to evade the toxin effect he went to his friend Dr. Curtis Connors, but after some tests with only 15 more hours for spidey to live Spidey interrupts Connors and says "I know, you need 36 hours to find a cure".

Desperately; Spider-Man heads where the radar points to get the book and returns to Connors to find men of the Kingpin in Connors lab with their boss holding up Connors. Kingpin knew what kind of toxin affected Spider-Man and made a deal with him; the "Anti Toxin" Spider-Man uses to save himself & Harry Osbourn then head with Fisk to hand his end of the bargain, the Hobgoblin was too smart for Spider-Man and the story ends with Spider-Man leaving Kingpin and the big mob boss calling his foe an amateur.

REVIEW:
The events of this story take place after the gang war in Amazing 284-288 & before the events of "Spider-Man vs Wolverine"

OVERALL:
The story is really excellent, I'm sorry I didn't read it earlier, the least of it is I made it up for my mistake & read it yesterday.

DETECTIVE CONAN

Detective Conan is one of the most excelsior (pardon the StanLee phrase if you don't like it, I love this word and he's one of the most talented writers on Earth, one of my all time favorite writers as well) animes to ever get released, like every anime it starts as a successful Manga series.

If you don't know Detective Conan you should get yourself some mangas or get some of the episodes, it is always the best to start with square one (not the children programme with this phrase, I mean start from the beginning) to get the major plot on the character.
He is a brilliant high school student named "Senji Kodo" with noticeble talent in football (the real football, the one called by Americans Soccer). Loving challenges and "Sherlock Holmes" he used his brilliance of deduction to solve crime mysteries police can't solve (the detectives should be ashamed of themselves, more than those of Batman because here a high school kid solves mysteries they can't).
One day returning from a carnival he went to with his girlfriend "Ran Murry" (the girl in the picture) he saw two suspicious guys in black (why can't they let the villain dress colorful for once, always black) doing a deal, one of the guys hit the young eavesdropper on the head and fed him a new type of poison developed in their labs, this poison instead of killing Senji turned him young (reversed puberty, a youth medicine? Silvermaine should've learned that instead of using the tablet of time).
Walking home he discovers he's young again, trying to convince prfessor Agasa (neighbor of the Kodo's) he's the real Senji he uses his power of deduction to tell Agasa where he went, like "Sherlock Holmes" Senji said "Elementry My Dear Dr. Agasa".
In Agasa's lab dressed in a set of clothes he used to wear in his youth he hid from Ran and wore spare glasses of Agasa, when Ran asked him about his name Senji looked back at the book shelf he had his back leaned on and saw a book authored by "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle" (this author got really famous from the fact that people ignored him and believed Sherlock Holmes; his creation to exist in reality) and named himself "Conan Edugawa".
Ran took the little rascal with her home and sent him to an elementry school with three kids he saw in the carnival of the day that changed his life. Conan now is looking for a way to get his puberty back, don't know when the series ended and in what issue. Miss this series and you miss a lot of great entertainment

CHAPTER 430: FACE OFF

"Naruto & Pain Face Off" (Note that all script typed here out of the panels is purely my fabrication)

Pain: "You copied my hairstyle monster, prepair to die for such treason"

Naruto: "Shut Up, you destroyed my whole villaige just for this. DIE. Hold it; I'm the good guy so I shouldn't kill you, you can escape and destroy the villaige again but I won't kill you"

Naruto: "Heh, I killed one of your bodies, it better stays dead for your own good Pain"

Pain: "How amusing, you just contradicted yourself"

Naruto: "Nope"

Pain: "Your more powerful than the rest, this'll make taking you down more delicious"

Naruto: "You're Pain, I should kill you with my magic chakara aspirins and save myself a lot of grief by destroying all six of you. Couldn't any of you expert ninjas think of such an approach?"

Pain: "You're not funny"

Naruto: ........................

Wait until Friday for the next glorious chapter: ASPIRINS
