Any other type of Gambling does the same, it kills you, just doesn't do it this quick, not always

how about gambling in moderation? it can be the same as paying for a night out. if you give yourself a bidget of $20 and be prepared to loose that then it is like paying to have fun - which we do all the time

but I agree - if you get addicted it is very dangerous!

I'm not excluding it to addictive cases, I'm talking in general form
Paying for a joyride is something different than paying money to get money through playing a game that causes plenty of conflicts, and causes the payer to lose a couple of limbs or a couple of teeth in case of good fortune just for winning

Addiction in general is something dangerous, just the thought of being addicted to something nice is scary
