In Batman Begins we have this guy, calling himself Henri Ducard, and calls Bruce Wayne to join their cause of justice, and later is found out to be Ra's Al-Ghul, Batman leaves him to die after Ducard tried to kill every person in Gotham city cause it's soiled with crime.

Question is there a comic origin of Henri Ducard?

Back in 1988 Bruce Wayne had to face consequences of aiding out of country people who oppose America, that was caused by a cartel that inserted itself in Wayne Enterprises and took liberty of forgery of Bruce's signature and taking charges, making a project transferring minds to other people who have biochips planted in their brains, that was revealed back in Detective Comics 598The Cartel almost found the truth about Bruce Wayne? Maybe so, they checked into his background and found his past bad for his reputation, they used that against him, and forged a charge on Bruce after he almost shut down their project, the Cartel hired Ducard to be a witness against their employer

The first actual appearance of Henri was in Detective Comics 599 in a flashback, in Batman's quest for training he hounded Ducard -a former member of the Interpol- to train him how to detect
Unlucky for Bruce, the former Interpol member who was wanted by 4 countries sought after Batman to fill his empty time

Studying Batman's prowess as a detective he discovered how some criminals are so attached to Batman they were putting things in his way to make him find them, and thought Batman is quite an overrated Detective

Putting 2+2 together he figured who Batman truly is, and found out some more secrets of Bruce Wayne, his former pupil

Seeing that Bruce did something ruthless (not knowing Bruce wouldn't have gone through it if not for some heavy persuasion) Henri didn't do what the cartel brought him to do, instead he saved Bruce and was proud of him, leaving America cause he is not welcomed there

A former member of the Interpol, a french, a great detective, a bit ruthless, that was Henri Ducard from the comics, that was the name used for Ra's disguising himself

So what if it's old? I like putting it there now, I just read it, like some stuff, others I find so-so or characters I care nothing about or know nothing about, it's a list, no hate

I loved seeing Raphael from TMNT in it, was hoping Michaelangelo wouldn't be far away from being viewed, and DAMMIT, Raph is the only turtle there, where's the love for the Turtle Titan?
It was also kind of surprising having Hal Jordan & Hal Stewart there without Kyle being on the list, I enjoy Hal the most, but why no Kyle? Kind of sad

Seeing Superman as No.1 & Batman followed as No.2 is great, I prefer Spidey to both, and I love Iron Man -because he is in many ways like Spidey- more than Batman, but I don't mind the two most important BFF there, why? They are the greatest 2 comic book icons, and I love seeing Spider-Man not far behind them

What's amusing is people's complaints on Superman being No.1, it's entertaining

Too many comic book stories are multi issued arcs, the ones contained in only one title are better cause they don't require getting some issues of a title you don't want to get involved with, then wait for a trade hardcover to read it

Trades sometimes cost less than collecting the story issue by issue, and has less advertisements, plus they show the extra unused covers. This is a decade of a trade for each story, I recommend patience and collecting stories in trades, beats waiting for the next part one whole month

Hey there true believers (I really need to quit quoting "Stan Lee")

I'm a comic reading nerd, I read so many comics, maybe a wee-bit too many, I also enjoy reading plenty of manga, playing video games, watching movies, etc,etc, same nerds stuff, it works fine for me, I can still arrange my affairs and not let my too many geeky activities interfere with the quality of activity in my life either social or to myself, though I discovered a good need to cut down my geeky/nerdy activity after checking a discussion about "How many times do you read comics?", some answered with "Only once", and I had to go in a :GASP: session, how can they do that? Of course they have too many comics they read, and so many things to do, after over a decade and a half of collecting comics they brief us on their experience of how life has things so stacked there is no room to reread back issues, and after prolonged thinking I figured I need to follow an advice of such a nice wise man

Of course the expression "Get a Life" can best be explained as "Don't let your interest(s) take over your life, balance between social stuff, work & fun", so don't misunderstand and think that reading comics is just a waste of time that causes serious troubles, it's a good hobby as many

I made a list of my top 50 characters over a year from the date of this post, 10 parts an entry with 5 characters in each entry, it went through some changes regarding the heroes I enjoy most, and who I think I should read about, but first check the important entries:

Some changes happened in the list, my top 5 heroes now, and the ones I care to collect about the most cause they are the most have comics of are (from the most favorite going downward):

1. Spider-Man: Was, and still is my favorite, not only as a superhero, but as fictional character, hopefully he will remain that way. This guy got me into the wonderful world of comics, he gave me a tempoarary fondness of spiders, I used to play with some spiders, that was until I developed quite the severe case of arachnophobia that lasted with me for years. This guy has one of the best names in comics, and a great costume that doesn't need a cape to look great, I always admired that about him, any reminder of him gives me a wide smile, and my fondness of him keeps growing, even after I feel him cheesy for a while, the only guy I almost have all of his published comics, his powers make great use in many video games, and looks great animated

2. Iron Man: Within time in the past two years and 3 months since his first movie was released, he jumped from a low mark of me not interested in him to my second favorite superhero, and as a fictional character, but I never liked the first movie that highly, still don't. I have a big collection of his comics

3. Superman: After a while, I began to feel he is my favorite DC Comics character, enjoying him more than I do Batman, the guys has the best comics I ever read, and has one of the greatest artists working on him for years, the magnificent "Curt Swan"

4. Batman: My top 3 movies of all time? Batman films. Greatest animated stuff? Batman. Comic books? Second best of all time (except the "Golden Age", some good and some boring). Video games? Have some real great stuff. Detective, I love detective stuff

5. DareDevil: Blind as a bat, his comics are great, and I have a great portion of his comics, they are great. And he's a ninja, I love ninja stuff

What made me make such a decision? I love rereading issues, I don't like to go sometime in the future collecting so many characters and barely have time to reread even an issue. I will keep my collection of other characters books, but I won't collect more of them, and besides, this way I will have more time for other things, for more important things

UNDER THE RED HOOD

The latest release of DC DTV animated features, one of many Batman features of course, and there are one or two more Batman features to come later this year, the guy is a major cash bringer. Here's the trailer

But the movie is so good, so far it's the best animated feature I watched, it has great action, very well paced, a grim and sad story, but still holds its funny moments (so does Batman Begins), don't get grim & gritty for entirely humorless

Voice acting? Voice actors are plenty of different, listen to the voices of Batman & Joker mainly, two different from their legendary voice actors "Kevin Conroy" & "Mark Hamil" respectively, though for this movie they worked very well, perfectly well, voice acting is very well made

I won't type any of the synopsis, I think this movie is so great I don't care to spoil it for you. Watch and enjoy it, the sooner you do the better

This is it, the moment I finally review this amazing Manga series, which I'm so sorry for not reviewing earlier.

STORY:
Like many samurai stories, it takes you back to the historical "Battle of Sekigahara", a war between the North & the South of a country divided Japan, which is thankfully one united country now. From the village of Miyamoto two young men joined the war, they were at the age of 17, one of them is "Shinmen Takezo", the other one is his only friend in the village, the only man who put confidence in him, "Matahachi Honiden", both wanted to prove themselves as strong men joining the war, but they didn't have a proper opportunity to battle, at least that was what happened entirely with "Matahachi Honiden"

After the battle, some events took their toll on the characters, some took bad choices and made the wrong moves, fortunately for Musashi, he planned to move between villages & boroughs, hence the name Vagabond, the march of "Miyamoto Musashi" towards being a great swordsman

Amazing series, I recommend you to read it, if you like reality in what you read, this series has plenty of reality, and of course it has some things that require you to suspend your disbelief, just don't fret

IRON MAN, BIGGEST SUPERHERO ON THE BIG SCREEN?

After "John Favarue" worked with his crew on creating a highly acclaimed masterpiece that made "Iron Man" a truly big name in both the worlds of Superheroes & movies was released in 2008, it was possibly the movie that challenges the greatness of Batman on the big screen after "Chris Nolan" & his crew worked on the release of "Batman Begins" in the year 2005 & its hugely more successful sequel "The Dark Knight", that rose the value of comic book superhero movies levels higher than what Spider-Man did after what Superman's movie starring the late "Christopher Reeves" did

"Robert Downy jr" is the witty nice weapon industrialist you would love to be his friend cause he's fun and friendly, who decided to stop manufacturing weapon after seeing that his money & inventions kills his people possibly as much as it helps his country soldiers, and got captured by the enemies, he performed in a most admirable way, the movie made the scene better than it was in the comics, especially how he makes fun of his captors, and still makes a body armor instead of a weapon under the eye of their surveillance cameras, which can be known as P.I.S (Plot Induced Stupidity)

I guess money mongers turning to guardians of their towns make their creators richer money mongers if the characters are well written

Why have I said that this is possibly more successful than Nolan's Batman movie-wise? Check out youtube on both their movies and you'll find the No. of viewers reaching a very high number

In a previous post I posted about this man, I saw him first in the video game by Capcom; "Onimusha 3" as the final boss, and was really surprised to see the exact same name used in a manga that has absolutely nothing to do with the game series. A fellow member from CBR forums & a fellow manga reader who pointed out to me indirectly on the manga series VAGABOND, pointed out that Nobunaga is a man from early Japan, a villain who wouldn't be let alone by historical fiction from the days of the Battle of Sekigahara mentioning him as a villain

(Never look at the current Hulk books as they are Earth616 right now, cause they behave very far out of continuity)

Wanda is chased by the army, and led by "General America" (Captain is Major in the Zombie-Verse & a General here), there is a hard chase, a handful of soldiers are lost, a handful of soldier tanks & choppers

DP showed-up saving Wanda from being arrested, they go to Wade's home so the team can be united.

Main Characters Roles:

*Karin Paige: Karin was last seen before this story as an uprising actress who escaped her life as a secretary, and escaped the life of being DareDevil's girlfriend, of being the lover of a man who might die in his adventures. Here she returned as a junkie who sells the secret of DareDevil in "New Mexico" in exchange of some bread, but that leavers her endangered and in a situation that either she escapes or get killed. She got undesired help to transport back to where Matt lived by a gangster fan of the former actress, instead of doing her a favor for a favor Paulo decided she's his, she then escape, Paulo gets arrested and she is reunited with Matt

*Wilson Fisk/Kingpin: After a network of intelligence from "New Mexico" let the info of DD's secret identity make its way to Kingpin, Kingpin decided to make sure of this info, especially since at first he didn't believe Bullseye when he found out and told Kingpin. Wilson made Matt's life miserable, saw how DD is always there for Matt and realized it true, so he blew Matt's home trying to destroy him and make him work for him, Matt came angry and fought Willy but the fight ended too soon and Wilson made it look like Matt stole a cab, drove it drunk the drowned himself, but unfortunately for him Matt escaped

*Matthew Murdock/DareDevil: Hardly wore the suit in this story, he remained miserable but then stood again and took control of his life, he is since then a cook in Hells Kitchen living in a warehouse

*Ben Urich: He got his fingers broken, was creeped out to ignore the Murdock story and how it linked to Kingpin, then he came to it and did plenty of good work

NARUTO CHAPTER 482

Back in the early days when "Uchiha Sasuke" was a member of Team-7 he went with his fellow team-mates to the Chuunin exam, there he met a girl for a short time & saved her from a wild giant bear

Surprisingly; she is Karin, a fellow member with him in Akatsuki and from his team of Avengers, he was real nice to her back in those days
But he decided in his battle with Danzo since she is severely injured she is of no use to him, so he must get rid of her

Miss Karin is saved by "Haruno Sakura" who pretended to have the intention of killing Sasuke for being a traitor, but she wanted to do it alone so she decided to ditch her fellows since the previous chapter

Aawwhh, she does love him, but she's very stupid.

I guess what Meg told Herc in the Disney Hercules film that he told her again after saving her from death is true: "People do crazy things, when they're in love"

SPIDER-MAN MOVIE REBOOT; ULTIMATE?

So it is not a new piece of information that after "Spider-Man 3" we will be getting a reboot for the series in 2012, new stars, new director. The film series (according to news) will be a new trilogy directed by "Marc Webb", the director of "500 Days of Summer" (I never saw the movie, never heard of it or of the director before).

"Director Webb" (heh heh, I make it sound like he's a director of S.H.I.E.L.D.) announced that he is a huge fan of "Ultimate Comics Spider-Man" which started back in the year 2000 by "Brian Michael Bendis"(never left the project) & artist "Mark Bagley" (stopped after issue 110 and went to DC comics as an artist for Trinity), the success of that series led to the launching of the rest of the "Ultimate Universe"

As a huge fan of "Ultimate Spider-Man" the new series could be hugely based on that series, starting with "Peter Parker" at "High School" and he could possibly make Peter have a job as the "Daily Bugle" web designer, this is a great service "Mr. Bendis" did for Peter because it has a better use of some of the young science whiz. abilities & skills

At least I hope like many other Spider-Man fans that the origin won't be retold here, cause it is very well known world wide and done a flawless revamp of it in the first of the previous trilogy

Based on the 12 part mini-series by "Alan Moore" & an artist I have no idea what his name is, I saw the movie but still haven't read the "Graphic Novel"

The movie has an ok story, a good story, not as AWESOME as the graphic novel is praised, I don't think the graphic novel is worth this high level of praise anyway, this is an overrated story

The story is violent, and has lots of images unhealthy for the eyes, neither young nor old

This is a movie that anyone who thinks comic books are kids stuff must see
Of course Nolan's Batman must change your minds too, they are PG-13 movies, not too mature and not too childish

American Comics creators at least take too much pride with their false heritage anyway, why do so?

So many comics show America to have the upper hand over whatever threat hit it (so does Hollywood, every form of American fiction does so). Comic creators do plenty of comics showing how great and heroic they were during "World War II" against the danger of the Nazi threat, what gives?

I saw so many covers of issues proving Americans to be Anti-Nazi patriots (this is why I started this subject in my comic blog), like America was threatened during WWII, the recent thing that really bugged me the most is having Joker disapprove of working for Nazi skunks because Nazi's are too evil even for a low-life like the Joker to join them

Here's a little lesson in history: During WWII U.S.A joined the group that worked against the Allied-Triangle, but what did they do? They loaned cash to countries to annihilate each other and stood watching from the sidelines, but when the Japanese blew-up one of their harbors in Hawaii back in August 1945 you know what those patriotic heroes did? The blew Two Japanese cities full of civilians, not militiamen, CIVILIANS, count 140,000 dead bodies. By the end of the war the great heroic country was the richest because it lost very little in the war compared to other countries and many countries were in financial debt to this mega awesome country

At least something good came out of that rubble the Nazi's (American government was and will always be a true Nazi, but they have many many respectable citizens, don't get frustrated on the citizens cause they are simply victims of their "Great Government"), Japanese stood up strong, they repaired their country and now they surpass all the rest of the countries by far many great steps, and we're very happy for the Manga and Anime aside from their fantastic technology, culture & well shaped manners

DARK KNIGHT TWO-FACE

This thread contains spoilers, so watch THE DARK KNIGHT movie then come read this if you didn't do so already. I can't guarantee you'll see it as awesome as I do even after several times of watching.

The one bedded is Harvey Dent after he is burnt severely in the entire left half of his body, the one with him is the Joker

Before capturing Joker Harvey was on his way to prison because he said he's Batman, they wanted Batman imprisoned to end the array of dead cops. Harvey was saved by Batman, Joker was captured and sent to prison.

Later Batman asks Joker where Harvey Dent & Rachel Dawes are, when did Joker have the time to capture them?

Batman said he'll save Rachel and told the cops to save Dent, but he felt Dent more important for the city so he saved him, the burnt half of Harvey was soaked in gasoline so it burnt after Batman took him away from the place before it burns, but they weren't able to go far enough and the fire reached and spread on the gasoline sending Harvey to the hospital

In the hospital before Joker blows it he convinced Harvey Two-Face that everything he did was random and unplanned, all plans have pathetic results? And Joker planned nothing? With everything he planned? And Harvey trusted him easily? After being so sore about Joker for what he did to him? Did I hear right?

Joker gets out and blows the hospital before Harvey has enough time to get out after getting dressed, how did he survive and didn't burn to an extra crisp? And that bombing of the hospital after having a chat with Two-Face wasn't planned? What did Joker say about planners being pathetic?

I think the movie is fun, it is one of my favorite movies, but it is very flawed

I'm beginning to enjoy the art of the guy now that I find the Spider-Man stories sketched by him to be much more fun than the Michilinie stories penciled by Mark Bagley, though I prefer the art of Mr. Bagley heavily especially since I saw his work on Ultimate Spider-Man.

A classic duel between the most sensational Blind Attorney and the oldest fighting man in the Avengers (sure Thor is way older, but by Man here I meant human) by "Stan (The Man) Lee" & "(Genial) Gene Colan"

DareDevil needed something to take his mind of the departure of "Karyn Page" from the law office of "Nelson & Murdock" because she can't stand being near "Matthew Murdock" who can't marry her and she's cuh-raai-zee about him, so he entered a public duel against "Captain America", only it didn't go that simple.

DareDevil is a hard match for "Captain America", much harder than "Iron Man" was in "Tales of Suspence #058" when the Chameleon tricked "Iron Man" to fight Cap

The issue is fun, though it is the same grief stories us Spider-Man fans know of in the Spidey issues written by "Big Man Stan"

"MOON KNIGHT" IS A FOX

The more issues I read of this guy's stories the more entertaining I find them, the more lovable I find Mr. "Marc Spector" to be really.

The mercenary who reforms himself, unlike Deadpool who is still a mercenary Spector stopped being a mercenary as he got resurrected, now this guy does not kill at all (maybe, he might kill). If you played "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" for the PS3 or "Spider-Man: Web of Shadows" for any system except the "Nintendo Wii" (That means the one done by Treyarch & "Shaba Games"), you can recognise this former Avenger, he was a member of "The West Coast Avengers" which was started by "Jim Rhodes" back in his "Iron Man" days, and Spector was a member

This is the cover of issue #10 of "Marc Spector: Moon Knight", it occurs during the best comic mega event ever: "Acts of Vengeance" back in the end of 1989-Early 1990, the story struck me familiar

Ringer is a little Chicken. No not that he's a coward, and this is not the same guy Spider-Man broke some of his teeth, that guy died.

Remember the story of "Little Chicken"? The one that got turned to a Pixar animated feature? That story is about a little chick who did not think like "Isaac Newton" when an acorn fell on his head, he thought "The Sky is Falling, I'm going to tell the Mighty Lion about it". Then the little chick runs and every time an animal asks him "What's with you running Little Chick" he gives the same stupid answer and all the animals are dumb enough to believe him.

Ringer is the "Little Chick", he collects two more to "Get Some Super Powered Costumed Heroes", his first follower is "Killer Shrike"

"Little Chick" and his first pal ran into another farm animal that goes by the name "Coach Whip" (does Marvel Comics love whips that much?). The funny farm animals went together to find the "Mighty Lion" to tell him that the "Sky is Falling" (I got too carried away, the three villains went to catch a heavy weight superhero)

And on a "Journey into Mystery" the three loonies go

Hey mister Fox, we gotta tell the "Great Lion" that "The Sky is Falling"
The dear dear fox knows how to reach the Lion, and he helps the animals by leading them to his den and he and his family had a royal lunch.

In the case of this issue; the baddies got defeated by "Moon Knight"

BATMAN & SPIDER-MAN: THE SAME IN.......

The guy to the left is the one and only Batman (That's "Bruce Wayne", now "Richard 'Dick' Grayson" is)

The guy to the left is the one & only Spider-Man (This guy had more imitators than Batman, best known guy in comics is his twin like clone "Ben Reilly" who was the Scarlet-Spider but later became Spider-Man with a different costume when "Norman Osborn" made things seem like Ben is the original and Peter is the clone. Spdier-Man once left to be replaced by a girl wearing an exo-skeleton & pretending to be Spider-Man). By this I said the first similarity. "Peter Benjamin Parker" returned to his duties as Spider-Man, "Bruce Wayne" is yet to return

I'll start counting without that first thing I mentioned:

1. Each is the biggest franchise seller from his own company, DC Comics have Batman to be most proud of and Marvel has Spider-Man

2. Both of them are underrated, yes I mean the use of the word under, both of them deserve to be loved by all, but we see ridiculous reasons to hate Batman (he's too rich, he has no super powers, he defeated Superman. I guess those guys hate Anime's) & more ridiculous reasons to say Spider-Man sucks (What a loser with no money, webbing? what a pathetic thing, etc etc)

3. Both are known to be the most loner characters from their companies, but Superman is much more of a loner than Batman because he doesn't place any sidekicks with him. Spider-Man has no sidekicks and he was always alone, until Marvel made a mistake by keeping him an Avenger since 2004, bad move

4. Both of them are smart and come with different strategies to get out of a bad situation, but most superheroes do so this is not just exclusive to these two

5. Both use gadgets of their own making, Batman uses many more gadgets, but he had help in building many

6. Both of them are brilliant scientific minded

7. Both had a friend go berserk, "Thomas Elliot" was berserk since his childhood, but only revealed it in HUSH, "Harry Osborn" became berserk because life gives pressures, and he was too weak to handle them, but he then got over them

8. Both drove a car representing his symbol. Batmobile is much better known than the more obscure Spider-Mobile (I want to see this in later seasons of SSM animated)

9. Bat Signal & Spider Signal. Bat signal is how the cops call batman though, the spider signal is a light showing the face of Spider-Man and it hangs in Spider-Man utility belt

10. Both raised by an old person who is not a parent

11. Both of them whine, they just show Spider-Man whining in text, Batman whining is not scripted to make him feel darker

12. The animal emblem on their chests, and I do repeat animal emblem. Look at Superman, Black Panther, Hawkman, Catwoman, Fantastic Four, Robin........

AMZING SPIDER-MAN #033 MOST FAMOUS SCENE

Most of us Spider-Man comic readers identify with the scene from "If This May Be By Destiny: The Final Chapter"

from "Amazing Spider-Man #033", the story is a 3 parter published from ASM #031-#033 back in the sixties.

This can be put as one of the most iconic moments in superhero comics history, how "Peter Parker" was under a heavy load but he had enough motivation to inspire him to carry the weight off of him.

This is a scene that got repeated in many more comics, where the hero has a heavy load on him and he has enough motivation to carry it off for the sake of saving loved ones, "Denny O'Neil" used it once in his "Iron Man" run before letting Tony a serious drunk after a while of non-drinking, this also happened by J.M.S in his "Doctor Octopus" story where Spider-Man was burried under a very heavy destroyed building during a fight between, Ock, "Luke Carlyle" & Spdier-Man when he entered

Most people recognize this scene for being adopted for the first time out of comics in "Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series" episode "Shear Strength", where Spidey needs to save Gwen from Ock's hideout. I believe it actually got first adapted in the first Spdier-Man movie during the last fight between Spidey & GG: Spider-Man was injured heavily, and a glider with piercing blades directed at him by someone with his amount of strength in peak condition, it was the motivation Spider-Man had to save his loved ones from that psycho that helped him lift the glider away, he had a huge motivation.

At least that is my opinion, the subject is open for debate(s)

If you read "Disney Comics" you'll see much more of this guy...duck than you can find in animated form. This is a duck from "Brave Scotland" as I quote from "A Brave Heart" movie. Scotland has a reputation of being a country of scrooge people.

The most famous uncle of "Donlad Duck" always humiliates Donald to have him work for cheap ($0.11 per hour) to nothing, the only salvation for Donald is that he is the only one to inherit his cheap uncle.

How scrooge is this Duck?
*He's too scrooge to know the exact serial number of every paper currency he owns
*He's too scrooge his heart break by spending a penny for his eat
*He's too scrooge to buy himself a good ship and good ship fuel to sail
*He's too scrooge to buy a newspaper, if he wants to read it he must find it tossed away
*He's too scrooge to let go of a penny he lost in the sewers, he just have to jump after it or find a way to get it back for free

TIN TIN

TinTin is the guy with hair from the front going upwards and has a dog named Snowy. This is a series of 23 comic stories, 21 of them turned to animation. If you see TinTin now you'll notice part of his pants are inside his socks.

Imagine yourself like him; a teenage journalist going on adventures and being able to outwit and outfight bad guys, he's a smart detictive too. Maybe 'Bob Kane' got inspired by this guy for Batman & Robin, except that he made Batman an adult since the start and Robin too young and often gets caught

Does anyone here remember the nice 80s animated show "Bionic 6"? How a family of 6 people have their faces public knowledge as superheroes but when they are seen in their civilian forms no one suspects any of them to be a superhero? I used to wonder how that happens when I was a kid

GREEN LANTERN FIRST FLIGHT

As any fan of the "Silver Age Green Lantern" know; "Hal Jordan" is a pilot who got his "Power Ring" from a dying alien who used to guard that ring, Hal gained the power and was a servant for the "Guardians of the Galaxies"

Hal's worst enemy is a former lantern gone rogue known as Sinistro (that's his name folks) who possesses a Yellow ring to counter the green rings because the color Yellow is the thing immune to the "Green Lanterns" rings.

This is what happens in this feature film, nothing new.

SUPERMAN/BATMAN #001-006 2004: PUBLIC ENEMIES

This is the "Graphic Novel" source material of the latest animated feature film by "Warner Home Video". Story by "Jeph Loeb" (currently the writer of Hulk) & "Ed McGuiness" (who honestly work much better on DC material than they do on Marvel's)

A meteor composed of Kryptonite is attracted to Superman, that why it is approaching Earth and is about to kill the planet inhabitants, the first person to know is "Lex Luthor", and he warns the planet & place a warrant on Superman after a failed attempt to destroy the meteor with a "BOOM-TUBE"

After a fight between these two against "Captain Marvel" & Hawkman they win and disguise as them then head to Luthor in his "Oval Office"Lex tells something to Batman sidekicks that proves why Spider-Man is much better than Batman as a superhero: "Why would someone like Batman, who has a reputation of being a lone wolf surround himself with kids for sidekicks?". COUGH, COUGH. I should step down from this talk, no RAHHING please

Look at this nice panel here, it is a reference to "Batman: Hush" by "Jeph Loeb" & "Jim Lee" (I read the entire 12 parts story, but I don't know in which title it happens cause I read it in "Gotham Comics" reprints, an Indian comics publishing establishment that publishes reprints of comics & magazines for India, but I live outside India, I'm not Indian, Banghali, or from these parts of Asia)

In part 6 Lex appears to have recieved his informations about the meteor from Darkseid, Luthor Corps got Bankrupt by his most trusted head of company "Talia Head", she robbed him.

SUPERMAN/BATMAN: PUBLIC ENEMIES FEATURE FILM

HO HO HO, I GOT ME AN EARLY PRESENT FOR CHRISTMAS, AND IT'S OCTOBER. Wait; I don't celebrate Christmas!!! But if I did I would definitely want me a set of the latest "Hulk vs", "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" & "Green Lantern First Flight". Why don't want others? because the rest have no appeal to me, but I already have and enjoyed both "Superman: Doomsday" & "Batman: Gotham Knight"

I saw the one based on the amazing first arc of the latest volume of Batman/Superman comics which is written by "Jeph Loeb" & "Ed McGuiness", the art & characters designs are direct adaptions of "Ed McGuinees" art. Here is my opinion for my first watch (it could change in later viewings) I warn you if you did not watch the film or read the comic arc it is based on, there are SPOILERS in the review:

It starts with a prologue on an "Economy Crisis" that led to "Lex Luthor" becoming "President of the United States of America", save economy and enlist superheroes to work as soldiers for him (seeing the superheroes registration is not started by "Marvel Comics", but those guys in the company of the red & white logo had a much better use for superhuman registration. Not the point to be talked about here anyway)

The movie is so short an adaption, it dropped the inner monologue (pointless out of comic form to be honest), the anger of Bruce from Clark knowing an info he didn't tell and Oracle digged from "STAR LABS" in less than five minutes, and the fight with Superman/Kal-El from a distant future wanting to kill his present self to avoid a mistake that killed "Ma & Pa Kent", Lois & Jimmy and the Kryptonite shard sending future supes back to his time.

I didn't read the whole arc in comics form, so I don't know all the details preventing me the ability to describe truly how superior I feel the comic version of the story is to its animated counterpart, the last I read is the battle between "DC Comics" 2 Mega Stars with Hawkman & "Captain Marvel" which was too short in the animated adaption.

I won't spoil the story much more to those who did not read the comics or are yet to watch this film.

In General: I have to admit that DC has much better animated features than the ones Marvel did, DC made even much better animated series especially the supreme "Batman Animated Series of the 1990s". This film is based on what I consider one of the most superior Batman/Superman stories ever, not so supreme in animation. 4/5 Yellow Suns (a sun is a star, since Superman came first I rate as if I read a main Superman story)

UNTOLD TALES OF SPIDER-MAN #13

I finally grabbed good copies of "Untold Tales of Spider-Man" series, I read some of them and from what I read the most amazing issues is issue #13, the issue that deals with the death of "Sally Avril" who is a blond girl in the current "Spectacular Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series". Unlike the animated, Sally has much more depth than just the annoying girl who doesn't like to see someone get hurt even "Puny Stinking Pete"

It starts with Spider-Man telling a story to someone, the story of how everything began, how "Blue Bird" was fighting some thugs because they witnessed her spying on them about "The Black Knight", Spider-Man came to save her and taught her a lesson by letting one thug give her just one punch to understand the dangers of fighting crime, of how she won't always have Spider-Man as her guardian angel before he knocks that thug unconscious (Sheesh, and Batman trains 10-12 years old and let them work with him in fighting crime? Get reasonable Batman)

Spider-Man took the info about the "Black Knight" and went to fight him, Sally took advantage of the piece of info she got and gave Spidey to take action shots of the event and sell to the Bugle, she was rushing her friend "Jason Ionello" who drove his fathers Jeep with no license to the site of action and they passed a red traffic light, a bus hit the jeep causing Jason to get a minor concussion and Sally died. The shock of seeing Sally dies gave "black Knight" an opening to strike Spider-Man unconscious for hours.

The theme of guilt hit Peter for a long time, when most people left the funeral of the young girl a news bulletin was cast on the radio about the Knight & his hostage in the "Chrysler Building" (because I first saw it as Kingpin's building in the 90s animated Spider-Man series I always recognize it as "Fisk Tower"), Peter had to leave the funeral and go there.

Eugene & the rest of Peter's class mates knew Peter is a photographer for the "Daily Bugle" because Peter told them so and showed them some of the pictures he took of Spider-Man in the "Show & Talk" day. "Eugene 'Flash' Thomspon" got harsh with Peter mocking his heroism and praising "Sally/Blue Bird" and describing her heroism to the coward (this is the best part of Flash thinking his best friend and former fun target too far from being Spider-Man)

Spider-Man saved the daughter of the diplomat, stopped "Black Knight" thugs, defeated the villain with bitteness in his heart. "The Human Torch" entered the scene and stopped Spider-Man from punching B.K more after he defeated him, the walls around them collapsed, B.K is gone & Spider-Man told the Torch the story (back to the First Panel/Splash Page)
Spider-Man acted as his usual "Drama Queen" self in whining (at least he's not like this all the time, and he feels the need to save not to avenge or destroy) until the Torch eased up on his friends grief by telling him what differences he made (Way to Go Torch), but Peter still is ubset by the loss of a classmate in such a tragic accident

COMMENTS:
This feels much like Spider-Man's debut in "Amazing Fantasy #15" back in 1962, but with him older and with different people, this is one of the times I enjoy his drowsing in self pitty though I really enjoy him more not whining but still acts in responsibility like "Roger Stern" & "Bill Mantlo's" runs, as well as the current direction issues out of "Joe Kelly's" work

WHAT IF...? DAREDEVIL

Anyone had hopes for a DareDevil animated series back in the 80s? Would you imagine it to turn as Amazing as Spider-Man & Hulk shows were? Check this out?

As in the comics Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer who is secretly DareDevil. (Unlike the comics he has dark black hair). By day he pals his teenage niece & his seeing-eye-dog. But when evil strikes he becomes DareDevil, his dog becomes lightning the Super Dog, and the three of them take to the street in DareDevil especially equipped van.

Now, stop and think about this for a minute: Who's driving the van? Is it the bland guy, the underage girl, or the seeing-eye dog?

Anyway, once they find crime among the rooftops-which is where most of crime in New York City typically takes place-Matt moves to the back of the van to the giant cannon, which unfolds from the top. And then, his niece launches him skyward...like a DareDevil...

WHY IS A BETTER THAN B?

Why do I prefer superhero comics over Manga & Anime? I'm still an Otaku even more than my entire squad of Otaku pals, but I prefer Marvel & DC comics much more than Manga & Anime, WHY?

I love fiction, but the Anime just have too exaggerated level of fiction, someone jumps up and stay flying 50 feet for a whole hour? Does this make any sense? I love my fiction to have sense

The charm about superhero comics is that it paints real life in a different color, it has real communities (Why I prefer Marvel to DC in general) & real people, but it's just a colorful set with different science & people with superhuman abilities, and they're cool. Sure some people have no super human powers like "Captain America", Bucky, "Moon Knight", "Iron Fist" & "Shang Chi" and they can fight to supreme levels, but at least they're still on ground, not someone can train to lift 7 tons more than the Hulk.

Comics are colorful as well, even the black & white of them look beautiful in print, they don't have super funny effects that look great animated but dull in the grey scaled still image.

Sure superhero comics have weird extreme levels of fiction at times, but it is not the kind that affects the continuity of the character in entitrety and goes really unbelievably ridiculous stories.

My older brother makes fun of superheroes for having ridiculous stories, but do you relise what he considers ccool and it has too stupid a story compared to the ones he insult? Bleach, he loves Bleach, a story of a 15 years old school boy who becomes a spirit god or something and he fights "hollow spirits".

A "Hollow Spirit" is a spirit of a dead person that doesn't go to the "Soul Society" and transforms to a giant long worm like beast that can destroy communities and needs a soul weeper to kill it, but young kids can still kill it with all simplicity. Watch Bleach the anime and I'm ready to hear any responses, or read them since you can't file me a video response here

UCHIHA SASUKE, ISN'T HE LOVEABLE?

"Uchiha Sasuke" is like Superman, he's the last of his kind right? RIIIIIGHT?

Both of them discovered some of their kind still exist alive, so why such a question?

"Uchiha Sasuke", what a nice kid who is so upset because his father never acknowledged him like he did his older brother Itachi (I admit, someone like him has the right to be upset in such a situation), the only one who truly loved Sasuke from his family is his brother Itachi.....Who am I kidding? Both parents loved Sasuke too.

Once upon a time this kid returned from the "Ninja Academy" and got the shock of his life from seeing his entire clan murdered, who murdered them but his older brother Itachi who thought back then Sasuke is too weak to kill, Sasuke got filled with anger and hatred for his accursed brother. Ever since that day everytime Sasuke looks at his reflection on the lake in picture it Itachi then jumps in and swims deep inside the lake then gets back to the surface

Sasuke met an idiot who always shouts and perform pranks and became friends with him, but in their first day as Genins they became rivals because Sasuke is appealing to all girls with his qualities, ever since he started calling this idiot a dropout. Oh, a dropout tied you down after class "Drama Queen"? Shame Shame, lucky for you he had to go to the toilet back then when you saw him afterwards

Cool and awesome until Orochimaru made you soil your pants, then you needed your idiot friend to save you in order to get back to your conscience and the annoying monstrous chick to wake you from your trance, you gave Orochimaru a hard fight before he bites you and gives you the cursed seal

Itachi comes after the "Chuunin Exams" and shhots you to the hospital then you get up thanks to Naruto and you go to your hate session and want to fight Naruto, he gave you a nice fight until Kakashi stopped you both. You were so happy to see the effect of the rasengan is way too weak compared to the chidori, but you went back to your hate session when the rasengan made such a huge hole in the tank, bigger than the mess your chidori made in the other tank.

Then came Orochimaru's minions to give Sasuke some ass-kicking before they grab him in a box out of Konoha to be trained by his biter.

What is similar between these two is:

*They both are main stars in their movies who start is normal people who deelope into villains

*They both appeared in villain incarnation for a short time in total in movies that each lasted for long over two hours

*Both of them are most iconic antagonists of their films protagonist

*Both of them die

So why is Two-Face loved and Venom is considered to be by so many the worst villain that appeared in a Spider-Man flick?

*"Edward Brock jr" (this is Eddie's full name in the Ultimate universe, numbered as "Earth 1610", and the name used in the movie) is a rival photographer who was a jerk since the start who cares for himself the most of all, then he got fired because "Peter Parker" put dirt in his eyes and then wanted vengeance until he bonded with the symbiote and remained Venom for a short while in the movie duration.

Like his original counterpart from "Earth 616", the natural series that introduces characters originally in Marvel Comics wanted revenge on Spider-Man because he made him lose his job exposing a wrongful story by Eddie, but ended bonding with the symbiote nd tormenting Spider-Man

*"District Attorney Harvey Dent" started as a hero who got brain-washed by the Joker after a trauma of losing his fiancee and half his body was burnt in the flesh, before dying he did pretty much what Venom did in Spider-Man movie but got glorified as a hero in the end unlike Venom.

Why is Harvey Two-Face loved and glorified in "Christopher Nolan" film and Venom got crucified by fans in the "Sam Raimi" film? Does this make any sense? It doesn't to me, so I'm open to hear your explanations even if I still don't like this happening.

This is a 5 issue miniseries published by MARVEL COMICS back in the year 2005, each issue is a story for both heroes together in a different era.

I love the writers work on this one, so as the art work, they deserve compliments for a great miniseries that ended with a shock to "The Human Torch" and got two families close together (Parkers & Richards)

The comedy is commendable, the writer did a funny story

On my facebook status I say "I hate Manga", but that is just to annoy a friend who annoys me on my passion for Spider-Man, I hate people who dictate on you what you should enjoy.

On the 'Toonzone" boards they always post flash advertisements of animated shows D.V.D's, I always ignore them because I never care for any anime as long as it is not introduced to me by any of my siblings, I mean what I said by the letter. But when I saw that this is about ninjas I got intrigued, I love ninja's

This guy "Rokoju Miharo" is the protagonist of the story, he has carved within him the ultimate wisdom that intends to consume him, the Shinranbunshi. Miharu (first name) Rokujo (Sirname) is meant to rule Nabari; "the world of the ninjas", and for that he is guided by an "Irish Ninja" in the guise of an ordinary "English Teacher" (the tall guy with black hair) and has a Japanese name, Izowa (the guy with glasses) and a "Samurai Ninja Girl"

I won't spoil the story further, it's something new and what makes me really love it more is that I'm driven away from Naruto by the stupidity happening in that guy's story

"Captain America"is famous as a "World War II" comic superhero who got frozen in deep sea and his best friend dies, or at least Bucky appeared to be dead. After being defrosted by the Avengers in "Avengers #004" he had solo adventures of his in "Tales of Suspense" starting in issue #59 after his fight with "Iron Man" in the previous issue, from that issue until issue#99, the last issue published under that title it had a monthly features of both "Iron Man" & "Captain America". "Captain America" tales were told by "The Fantastic Two": "Stan (The Man) Lee" & "Jack (The King) Kirby", "jack Kirby co-created "Captain America" along with "Joe Simon back in 1939 A.D.

Enough with this briefing of Cap's history frantic ones, let's jump to the review of the feature at hand

In "Tales of Suspense #062" our favorite duo made Cap demonstrate his skills of combat to a prison warden and the prison guards, some of the guards dressed as prisoners and held rods with blank shots shooting "Captain America", the reason for this demonstration was shown for the inmates of "Cell Block 10"; a block that holds the most dangerous criminals

It was revealed that the guards are truly inmates in disguise, the guns had real ammo and the false Warden took the place of the real one who is imprisoned in one of the cells, the only locked cell.
The reason "Captain America" was truly summoned is to trick him to be caged and they take his shield with its magnetic powered carrier to open this electric gate and help them escape

The magnetic power-ups were taken off of the shield because the disturb the balance. When the false warden was talking to the inmates he said the gates password, they were standing at the gate and it did not open.
Come to think of it this way: If they were not able to open the gate; how did they let "Captain America" in

THE ORIGIN OF DAREDEVIL

DareDevil is one of the comic book characters to have his origin revamped, another one is "Iron Man", but the only focus here is DD: "The Man Without Fear"

In DareDevil v1 #1 DD had his costume done and ready before he fights the one responsible for his fathers death; Sweeny/The Fixer. In that telling of his origin DareDevil was not an angry pissed off vengeful spirit, he sure was angry by the muder of his father but he wasn't in raging vengeance, "Stan Lee" made the character someone to crack jokes.

In v1 issue 164 DareDevil was hospitalized after a tangle with the Hulk from the previous issue, Reporter "Ben Urich" heard "Karyn Paige" call DD Matt in concern and that grabbed his attention, broke his suspeciouns about DareDevil and led him to the tru identity of the Crimson adventurer. Ben decides to gather informations from DareDevil himself, DareDevil told Ben his origin after the revalation.
In this version he had rage squeezing his heart, he was really sour about his loss and looked with vengeful rage at the ones responsible for his loss, DareDevil played Sweeny's strong arm in a boxing match and humiliated him. Sweeny ran for his life but hee died from a heart attack of the fear brought to him by the Devil chasing him.

"Man Without Fear #2/5". "Frank Miller" & "John Romita jr"

Later revamp, Matt went after Sweeny for vengeance before sewing his costume, he did not fight this big gorrilla in front of Sweeny, he attacked him until he lost blood mercilessly and Sweeny witnessed late then escaped.

"Moon Knight" is a vigilante I read about a few years back and he appeared to be really interesting because he works to redeem his past, and every story he guest starred in is fantastic.

[He is a man of several personalities, he was always such a person even in the old days of him being a mercenary and a treasure hunter. His later different personalities used different names:
*Billionaire "Steven Grant": A smart Wallstreet broker
*Marc Spector: his original name, his mercenary side
*Jake Lockley: A street smart cab driver]

The thing that pulled me the most to this panel is the fact that the writer's name is "Steven Grant"; one of M.K's persona's, the other thing is that he narrates the story in a way of speaking from "Steven Grant" persona of "Moon Knight"

First of all I'd like to say that I'm a huge "Two Guys, a Girl, & A Pizza Place" fan, I love that series because it is hilarious, and "Ryan Reynolds" is 'THE' star in it.

I'd also like to point that I'm a huge fan of Wolverine, the worlds most famous X-Man, former agent of SHIELD & now an Avenger, I'm a bigger fan of his favorite foe as well, the nutball from Weapon-X project as well as Wolverine, our favorite Deadpool.

The best piece of news I heard about the movie is that it has Deadpool, and "Ryan Reynolds" star as Deadpool, I saw a few episodes of "Two Guys & a Girl" recently before watching the movie and that made my hopes higher for Deadpool in the movie.

The origin of Wolverine had alterations over the comic book origin (I'll explain them later), but that went fine, we know that superhero/comic movies aren't all too biblical about the source material so it went fine.

What I point at in this entry is about Deadpool, the clown of Weapon-X who has the occasional fights with Wolverine and they're meant to be funny, Deadpool wears a Spider-Man ripoff costume and he uses all sorts of weapons (mouth included, this is why he's known as "The Merc With the Mouth")

"Wade Wilson" started a funny short piece of appearance, then we have over an hour of the movie without him until we see him later as something else.

Boo (Oh wait; I can't talk cause my mouth is sealed, bummer dudes)

Cyclopse has an appearance in the movie wearing his "Ruby-Quartz Glass" to stop his lazer from shooting, but it was created by neither "Professor X" (they are yet to meet in the end of the movie?) nor by "Hank Maccoy"/Beast. Sabertooth abducts Cyclopse for Weapon-X from school.

Deadpool has no mouth? No name? He can teleport without the special belt built for him by Weasel? He can release Adamantium-Swords from his arms like Baraka from "Mortal Kombat"? And they copied Cyclopse mutant ability to give it to pool? Not to mention that he is controlled like "The Nemesis" from "Resident Evil Apokalypse" movie???????

I won't rant like I feel I should do as a faithful Deadpool fan so I'll zip-it. If you want to have a DeadPool translated right from the comics you have "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" video games, and you can find him in the excellent animated feature film byLionsgate "Hulk vs Wolverine". Last option I know of is when ItsJustSomeRandomGuy on youtube makes a short featuring Deadpool

It is very obvious that I enjoy Spider-Man after the "One More Day" event, the hate for the new direction is too irrational (Making a deal with the Devil is always a bad move this is why I didn't neglect the word 'too'). I find him better now, he's still human (everyone does humongous errors in their lives, no exception, but the hate for the start of "Amazing #601": Peter drunk himself and slept drunk with a drunk "Vin with Boobs" (that's how another guy named "Michelle Gonzalez") is very acceptable). Now I've gone "Far Far Away" (I won't meet Shrek's in laws) from my point.

Dan & his father are in their "Hibiki Dojo", Sagat shows displeasure of Hibiki's attitude in business and they have a fight that ends with Sagat getting his eye gouged. Unlike Ryu; Dan's father did not live

Police arrived at the scene of the crime. Dan didn't feel like giving any informations about the assailant to the cops to place vengeance on Sagat himself, but Chun-Li's father knew from the few question he asked and from Dan's body language that Sagat is the murderer.

Sagat puts on his eye patch and moves with his goons for a job.

In a chinese restaurant a reunion is done between two old friends and this is how the issue ends

Story1: Victory (By "Joe Michael Straczynski"(writer), "Oliver Coipel" & "Marko Djurdjevic" (pencils)):

Loki talks in the beginning about what he (wait a minute, she? A god does sex change?) did to Bor; the father of Odin. Bor is now back alive on Earth, believing his son Odin is dead before he mysteriously vanishes and now coming to Earth like a "Don Quixote" around the windmills (he sees all his surrounding monsters and attack).

"Jane Foster" tells "Dr. Donald Blake" (when did Thor get back to being Doc Blake? He was another person last time I checked) to call their mutual friend and help.

Thor tries to ease up his "Don Quixote" for a grandfather telling him he's among friends (Thor identified him as an unfamiliar Asgardian, but did not know he is his grandfather), but Thor is just another windmill so Bor strikes and a fight ignites

Thor needs to stop Bor but he can't stop him without killing him, so he calls for help from the Avengers. The Avengers arrive as Thor wanted, but he didn't get these guys:

He gets these buffons instead; H.A.M.M.E.R. Avengers: Armored suited guy is: Iron Patriot/Norman Osbourn
Hawkeye is really: Bullseye
Wolverine is: Logan's son (don't know his name)
Ms. Marvel: I think she's Moonstone
Black Suited Spider-Man: Really McGargan/Venom shift-shaped the symbiote

Thor gets help alright, but with it he gets extra burden cause Norman decides Thor needs to be arrested. Thor throws them away for their own sake.

Loki tells King "Balder the Brave" (I'm pretty sure Thor is the only son of Odin, how did Balder become king?) that he (sorry, she) identified the assailant on Earth to be Bor, father of Odin.

They reach Thor by the time he killed Bor, then they told him that was his grandfather

Asgardian rule: "Anyone who kills an Asgardian -mainly from the royal family- is to be banished from Asgard". Thor did not defend himself, instead he admitted he killed a royal Asgardian and said he will come back with talk like thunder and got banished from Asgard.

Loki has a plan for a new Asgard, an Asgard in Latveria.

Story 2 (Written by "Stan Lee", Pencilled by "David Aja"):
Thor is needed everywhere in a fight, so he decides to retire as his human alter ego "Dr. Donald Blake" and have his wife with him (hmmm; seems to me like every superhero in Marvel comics decide to give up being a superhero, Thor is the third one I find with such a decision after Spider-Man & "Iron Man"). As Dr. Blake he performs a successful surgery to a kid who decided to stay hanging because his idol "Thor" would never give up. And "Dr. Blake" decided to stay Thor and not quit.

This is the weakest 600 annevirsary issue I read from Marvel comics, but the issue still does not fail to be entertaining enough

.I have the Romita jr cover, his art does not fail to paint joy on my face as it usually does.
.From what I saw of the rest of the covers the best ones is the Romita sr cover
.Quesada did most of the staff the favor of finally breaking the marriage and made me a favor by giving Spider-Man a brain trust that made his book the funny book it originally was and should still be, his art is great in OMD, but his cover is a mess
."Alex Ross" art is the most masterful. I don't find it good for comics interiors as I do find it for covers. The pencil & inking are great, the color red is the flaw in his cover

*Story 1: Last Legs (Slott & Romita jr):
.Spider-Man & DareDevil caused a bar to be closed,this makes them worthier of being in my favorite comic book characters list
.DareDevil explains how he can't feel Spider-Man's identity and tells Spider-Man he is lucky is a fine move
."Doctor Octopus" condition is the MAXIMUM surprise, but we all know it won't last
.Doc Controls the city and acts as it is a good thing tells he is a great villain, even that he doesn't show his condition on monitors
.Spider-Man saves a guy from an accident and is blamed for the accident and the one saved is stupis for thanking Spider-Man (Typical Parker Luck)
.Spider-Man's little chat with the Avengers (mostly Wolverine) is funny
.Ock still loves May Parker, he started paying attention to her as eh, then he wanted her heritage then he really loves her, and he never gave up on it

It's cruel not to laugh at the (Brubaker/Mckone) cover, the rest are fun

Captain America 600 & Thor 600
Captain America is the issue with the absolute highest quality of these three, Amazing Spider-Man comes second

Thus far this issue is the only issue marked with No. 600 that:

SOL REVIEWS NO. 600: CAPTAIN AMERICA

*The issues starts with the origin by "Alex Ross", "Paul Dini" & lettered by Todd Klein

*A year has passed since the murder of "Captain America", "Sharon Carter" remembers dimly what happened that day, she gets the murder weapon and wants to make sure of whatever truthfulness is there and ingenuity of the murder gun.

A man underwent plenty of surgery to look & sound like "Steve Rogers", he even almost acts like "Steve Rogers", goes through memory lane and stop some hoods stealing his stuff

"The Avengers" talk together, consider attaining the memorial of "Captain America" and decide not to cause the shed of any blood. (reading the issue you'll notice I skipped two scenes)

"Norman Osbourn" believes Steve to have died a traitor, but he runs the memorial in armor and acts as if he loves Steve as a hero to Steve fans. Ronin (used to be Hawkeye before Bullseye get the uniform)/"Clint Barton" is the most ticked of Steve's friends by the act of Norman. (I skipped one more scene)
"Sharon Carter" greets Falcon (the one registered Avenger) and reveals to him and his fellow Avengers she believes cap to be alive (the never explain a bit of how it happens in this issue; "Steve Rogers" being alive)

This is "Jessica Drew"; the original Spider-Woman & not "Cathrine Zeta Jones". She is among the mourners

*Another story is about two of Steve's friends from "Roger Stern" & "John Byrne" run in the 80s of "Captain America". Stern wrote the story of how these two feel

*There is "the story of Captain America" note by his co-creator "Joe Simon"

*A classic story of "Captain America" by "Stan Lee". How the arch foe (Red Skull) knew the secret identity of "Captain America". The steps of discovery are pretty much the same of how "Norman Osbourn" discovers the secret identity of Spider-Man in "ASM #039"

I don't mean sidekicks, and not even started as sidekicks then became superheroes, I mean those who started as superheroes in their teens and I shall get non newer than those who I know appeared in the sixties.

1. Star Spangled Kid/Sylvester Pemberton (DC Comics): The original Star-Spangled Kid was Sylvester Pemberton, a Golden Age character. He became the Star-Spangled Kid in order to battle Nazi spies and fifth columnists during World War II. He was unique in that he was a kid superhero who operated with an adult sidekick, Stripesy a.k.a. Pat Dugan (he sort of looks like Sandman/FlintMarko/William Baker/Sylvester Mann). Both he and Dugan were superb acrobats along with having sufficient training in hand-to-hand combat. They devised a series of acrobatic maneuvers that allowed them to build upon one another's strengths, the Kid's agility and Dugan's strength. They also built the Star Rocket Racer, a bubble-topped limousine with the functions of a rocket and helicopter.

2. Captain America/Steve Rogers: According to "Ed Brubaker" in "Captain America 601". He wanted to become a soldier but wasn't fit, then he underwent the transformation by the superhero serum when he was eighteen years old. Eight-Teen

3. Johnny Storm/The Human Torch: Started as a member of a team of grown ups, not just a simple sidekick (Stan Lee sure loves to have his heroes start in a young age, at least not all of them started like that) but a very important and efficient team member. He even had his solo adventures back then.

4. Spider-Man: This one is unique for being the first teenage solo superhero, not a sidekick, not a team player and didn't look for help in his fights, even when he got help offered to him he often rejects it because his fights with super villains are personal.

5. Original X-Men by Lee & Kirby: X-Men started as five teenagers in an academy being run by "Professor Charles Xavier". Leader comes first so: Cyclopse, Jean Grey(the infamous phoenix, she will soon be resurrected be sure of that, or maybe any time within the next ten years if she isn't right now) Beast, Angel & Iceman

THE WORST STORY OF THE YEAR 2009

American Son: A 5 parts story consisting of Amazing Spider-Man #595-599

This is the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #599, the man in the armour based on "Anthony Edward Stark/Iron Man" technology is none other than "Norman Osbourn". The dude in front of him is wearing the armor of the project "American Son"

Part 1 & 2 are quite fun, the rest is utter garbage of a story about a conflict between "Norman Osbourn" and his son Harry.

*Chapter 1 (ASM 595):

Harry and Peter are in central park, Harry talks Peter into mingling with ladies to go steady, it doesn't go well for Pete. Harry sees his fathers jet and is angry.

In the "Front Line" office Peter is talking the staff about making a story of Norman's crimes, too bad for Peter that currently they can't stick anything to him.

Spidey has a chat with Wolverine requiring help to get Norman out of office then says he wants to kill him, Logan tells Spider-Man there is a difference between taking a man out of office and killing him. A joke comes during the chat about former president "George Bush jr"

At a dinner party in Mayor Jameson home Peter and J.J jr are to have a picture together (Peter has to make fun of them being future brothers since "J. Jonah Jameson sr"/"Jay Jameson" & "May Reilly Parker" are to unite at wedding). The Final guest "Norman Osbourn" arrives because he heard his son will be there and he wants Harry to join him.

Norman is in his limo with "Hand" all of a sudden Spider-Man ripps the cars roof and pulls Norman high in the sky and have a bloody chat (by every single letter) with Norman about leaving young Harry.

In his home; Harry meets his ex and learns she's pregnant with his son, Harry promises good for his ex and his spawn.

*Chapter 2-5:

Spider-Man fights Gargan to take his place to get Harry out of Norms building dressed as Venom, has a fight with Wolverine's son and wins, Norman asks Harry if this guy is Venom or Spider-Man and Spider-Man is unfortunate to have an honest Harry making his thighs bleed and gets shot in the head making him all tied up.

Garbage, Garbage, Garbage......I can't bare to explain the rest because it is pure garbage.

*Both have the color RED very important in their wear: Almost every "Iron Man" is half red. Spider-Man's original costume is the famous red 'n blue

*Both made skin tight uniforms on their exact fit and neither of them is a good knitter

*Both of them loved the big man's main secretary, but the secretary married another friend of him in the same company, now the husband of each of these two women is dead, each of them fought the secretary husband.

"Tony Stark" loved his -now again- secretary but she married his former driver "Happy Hogan", Happy turned more than once to a monstorous "Freak" & "Iron Man" fought him. Happy was in the hospital lying last before Pepper pulled the plug on him
"Peter Parker loved his boss Secretary "Elizabeth 'Betty' Brant", Betty married reporter "Ned Leeds" who got brain washed by "Roderick Kingsley" the original Hobgoblin to pose as him. Spidey fought Ned, Ned is by soldiers of the Foreigner (as showed in Spider-Man vs Wolverine, later revealed Kingsley killed his substitute man)

*Both of them carry the "Guilt & Responsibility" characterastic

*Both of them decided more than once to let go of their alter-egos, but out of their hands circumstances made them turn back on that choice every time

*Both of them lost a girl they fell in love with by a menace in green. Tony lost "Janice Cord" by the hands of "Titanium Man". Spider-Man lost "Gwen Stacy" by the "Green Goblin"

*If one of them gets angry for the sake of a loved one, they go on rampages against the villains responsible

*Tony almost married "Marriane Rodgers", Peter almost married "Gwen Stacy". Both two chicks have a long blond hair

*Both of them have a black uniform. Tony has his stealth armor & Spidey has his famous black suit

After "Jim Rhodes" wore the "Iron Man" armor when Tony was drinking himself out, he started feeling heavy headaches that turned him berserk. Tony made a simple armor to stop Jim's rampage
Peter fought his friend "Harry Osbourn" in two events; once when he was after the effect of the pills believing himself the "Green Goblin". There was the time when Normans ghost haunted Harry and drove him to the brink after the stress of being in the Goblin Guise for a while

*Both of them were tricked to fight Namor the Sub-Mariner but teamed up with him in the end

THE MANY ARMOURS OF IRON MAN

Silver Centurion: This armor was built by persuasion of Hawkeye the leader of the "West Cost Avengers" back then. Anthony dons the armor after his buddy "Morly Erwin" dies by a gift package from "Obidiah Stane" to there dome of "Circuits Maximus"

Under-Sea Armor: Searching for a canister of gas among the rubble of the long wrecked ship "TITANIC"; "Iron Man" dons this armor to be able to hold in a very deep with high pressure ocean.

During the Stark wars the "Silver Centurion" was destroyed, this is a much more powerful armor that helped Tony defeat the rogue that destroyed his previous armor

The most famous armor donned by "Iron Man" the longest time

Modular Armor: Created in "Invincible Iron Man #300". This is the armor that got animated in the 90s Marvel cartoons and Capcom video games

Once in the "Chuunin Exam" he placed some of his insects in Zako's/Zak's repulsors (a guy from Orochimaru's sound village) and defeated him with that strategy.
Do you suppose he is based on Ant-Man?

Ant-Man orders flying aunts to enter the choppers engine to stop it and foil the escape of one of the guys who tried TO BLOW "Anthony Stark" return press conference in "Iron Man #233".
The one in that issue is the second "Aunt Man"/"Scott Lang" not the first one "Henry Pym"/"Yellow Jacket"

WHAT MAKES NORMAN THE ARCH-FOE

The question "Who is Spider-Man' arch Nemesis?" and the answer "More than two" are getting too old and senseless because it got way too obvious that "Norman Osbourn/The Original Green Goblin" is his arch-foe.

Since the day he started the Goblin made clever plots to smack Spidey to the ground, and wanted to seize control over crime in town to be the "Kingpin of crime" but his plans were always foiled by Spider-Man, this is why the Goblin remained hidden planning for his ultimate revenge.

The did not show the Goblins method of conviction to get the thugs use the bomb with the special formula that defunct Peter's spider-sense. The Goblin followed Spider-Man from a distance, learned so many information about him the fought him in the yard of his sick aunts and dragged him all the way to one of Osbourns warehouses revealing himself and have a fight ending with Norman forgetting the Goblin.

After seeing a slide show on Spider-Man & the Goblin Norman regained his memory and went to strike "May Parker", one of the Goblins gadgets made Spider-Man drows in fear and hallucinations

After getting back as the Goblin once again; he made attacks Peter in his apartment, throws a bomb of gas that made Spider-Man lose his ability to stick to walls when Harry was a drug addic, Spider-Man is forced to pull punches against his friends father, & Norman secretly had sex with Gwen making her pregnant with twins she give birth to in France before killing her and getting severly wounded with wounds he recuperates from later.

In his hideout in France Norman raised his twins making them believe they are Peters kids & made them despise him for abandoning their mother and allowing Spider-Man to kill her.

Harry Osbourn, and others after him; "Dr. Bart Hamilton", "Roderick Kingsley", "Jason Philip Macendale", followed Norman's footsteps and became Goblins while Norman was away in hiding.

The clone mess started by "Professor Miles Warren/The Jackal" was also a mess done by Norman to make Spider-Man insane and it did make him doubt how genuine he is for months.

"May Reilly Parker" was kidnapped and replaced by a genetically altered actress to resemble the original, she died and Peter grieved on her death for a while to be arrested for a murder committed by his un-cloned clone Kaine (I didn't read the clone saga, don't ask me how it happened)

Peter get exonerated eventually, Norman forced the Bugle out of Jameson to be owned by him. Not only that but he also talks on TV against Spider-Man turning the public against him worse than the way Jonah Jameson turned people against the wall-crawling masked menace.

As the "Green Goblin"; Norman talks on TV about the death of "Gwen Stacy" sounding a poor innocent man and Spider-Man is the actual murderous idiot.

Eugene "Flash" Thompson gets filled by the booze he wants to clean his blood from and is placed in a driven truck hitting the wall of his old school.

In prison; one guard asked Norman for a favor to save his sick wife only to have her condition worse, Norman told Spider-Man the story and planned for twelve sinister foes of Spider-Man to kill him after Spider-Man himself release Norman from prison directly.

Now Norman is seen as a patriotic national hero leading the Thunderbolts, and Spider-Man unregistered, wanted, and chased away by his internationally powerful foe

TASKMASTER MINISERIES

Taskmaster is one of my favorite villains, mostly since Udon & Ken worked on him back in 2002, before it I saw him once in ASM #308 and I saw him a nonsense idiot ripping the "Red Skull" face gear, his mini-series and appearances in Deadpool to save the life of Wade and his role in "Agent X" miniseries made me enjoy him alot.

In "Las Vegas" Taskmaster helped one of his friends -a casino owner- to stop a gambler who wins way too much for the likeness of Casino owners, after his job ends he helps a girl "Sandi Brandenburg" there to win 3 rounds of sevens before coming home.
On his E-Mail Taskmaster recieved a job offere from Sunset-Bain; a rival of "Anthony Stark". Taskmaster did the job she aquired him to do but because he knew her reasons for the job she betrayed him of his money for drugs, a gun & a set-up to be arrested by rotten cops

After escaping the trap; he saw remembers he shouldn't get cocky or he'll see more of his blood flying around.
Since Sunset betrayed him he decided to teach her a lesson and set-up a rival Chinese gang and caused war between them by posing as their Kingpins right-hand man.
Sandi arrived to New-York and he had dinner with her on the beautiful view of one of Baines places blowing up.

While being punished by Uncle Lo; his right hand man was saved by a guy by showing Big man Lo footage of Taskmaster drugging that guy the night he gave order to attack Baine.
The gang had a truce with Baine and raided Taskmasters apartment shooting Sandi & knocking Taskmaster unconscience and drowning him, this is/was their last mistake

Taskmaster doesn't drown, he escapes a possible watery grave and teaches those who threw him a lesson then he watches some Martial arts movies in a Motel before striking back at his attackers, his photographic reflexes helps him do the moves by just viewing them.
In Sunsets building a mess of a massacre happens, her personal bodyguard almost dies and she leaves town.

DAREDEVIL FACES TRIAL

I saw it in the figure of a "soft cover trade paperback" (with no issue covers) and I couldn't find the issues on a single until I browsed the internet today and saw it is in some issues of volume two during the era of the "Marvel Knights" publication.

Written By "Bob Gale" & "Brian Michael Bendis", I don't know who did the art but it looks very good.

Spider-Man has a huge role in that story and it made me enjoy it even more than for just being a DareDevil story

BATMAN ANNUAL 1985

A hard cover book containing two Batman stories & one "Batman: The Brave & the Bold" story.

1. BATMAN: THE BRAVE & THE BOLD: "Oliver Queen/Green Arrow" comes to Gotham and helps Batman save a rich man named "Mellor" living in a castle.
Arrow does a performance in a costume ball to entertain a drugged Mellor with his "Robin Hood" act. After the finish of Arrow's act he sneaks out of a window and witnesses "Black Canary" being burned, but he discovers she's a robotic trap set by "The Penguin" to catch him.
The bow is broken by Penguins goon to the eyes of a conscience "Green Arrow", Penguin shows his captive the real "Mellor" and his robotic counterpart then takes the robot out.
"Green Arrow" escapes his straps and punches Penguins henchman saving the real "Mr. Mellor" then he saves a Batman who got tricked the same way he was by a "Robotic Robin", the duo foils Penguin's plan and the police arrest Penguin and his gang.

My review is bad, but the story is great:

2. BATMAN: THE SNOWMAN

A series of roberies occur in "Gotham City" by a Snowman (he freezes his victims to death, tops them in ice like Sub-Zero does in "Mortal Kombat"). "Bruce Wayne" made a party and one of his guests is a skiir with olypic skiing medals, his shoe bottom was on ice and that made Batman decide to investigate the apartment of the olympic champion, from there Batman took a diary he read in his private penthouse, the diary reveals the skiing champ past and helps Batman defeat him when he learns the next location and causes an accidental death.

A woman from an expedition have SEX with a yeti that saved her not knowing that he's not human until later and she goes insane. Home in the US she dies and her half human/half yeti son is born. BAAAH

Joker tries to build a monument of himself, but Batman smiles a creepy smile in the end at Joker. You can't not laugh at that, can you?

DOES ANYONE HATE SUPERHEROES?

*I heard some people saying they do not like the superhero genre, but do you believe such words?

**My answer is: I absolutely do not believe this to be a fact, it is just a saying that has no base on any level. Please read my explanation:

There are so many people enjoy reading both Marvel & DC comics like my father & me, there are some people who believe Marvel comics are fantastic and DC comics sucks & vise versa those who believe DC to be awesome & Marvel is looked down upon by them as trash, there are those who like nothing from any of these and they don't even like image superheroes and they base on such thinking that "Superheroes are boring".

I don't believe this sentiment because the same people enjoy such things as "Harry Potter"(Dr. Strange: Sorcerer Surpreme is an example of magic in superheroes, to understand that the choice of HP isn't out of context). There are those who enjoy 'TRANSFORMERS': Super giant bots changing appearance and function and fighting to defend the good they believe in.

There are also those who enjoy such television series as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Angel", "Heroes" & other kinds of superheroes television series, these series are about people with superhuman abilities defending their home against evil people & forces.

Other examples are in animes: Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball series, Onepiece & other sorts of animes. People hate superhero comics saying superhero genre is 'MEH' but they enjoy these animes.

See why I don't believe those who say such words? No matter how those who say so believe themselves they always enjoy things of such caliber.
